Called Palm Beach’s best kept secret, Singer Island is a hidden gem. There is so much to do on this island that a trip to the mainland will not be necessary at all. Singer Island rentals in resorts have a bunch of luxurious facilities and there is plenty of adventure to be had on the rest of the island as well.
You can rent single or double kayaks in Palm Beach’s Singer Island location. These kayaks are the sit-on-top type. If you refer the stand-up paddle boards they are also available. Lessons on how to use these boards are available at this location as well as classes teaching you how to do yoga on these boards. If you’re a nature lover, you can go on eco-tours here too.
In Phil Foster Park you can go diving and scuba diving. This location is renowned and was named one of the best dive sites in the world. This honor was given by Sport Diver Magazine. You can snorkel along the Snorkel Trail or the Artificial Reef, which is 800ft long. You can rent kayaks and SUPs from the Singer Island Outdoor Center. The center can also arrange for someone to take you on a guided tour of the scuba and snorkeling locations. If you’ve dived before and feel confident with your experience you can book a catamaran or a diving charter and take a snorkeling tour. You can make this booking with Singer Island’s Sailfish Marina.
If you’ve done all there is to do on Singer Island you can take the Palm Beach Water Taxi to the mainland. After seeing what the mainland has to offer you can then take this shuttle back to the island. It departs from and returns to the Sailfish Marina.
